avaAdEase is proud to announce it has won three awards in the 2013 AVA Digital Awards. The AVA Digital Awards competition is an international competition that recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of digital communication.

As part of the Know the Signs campaign, a multi-faceted suicide prevention campaign designed to educate about the warning signs of suicide, the website www.suicideispreventable.org earned a Platinum Award, the AVA Digital Awards’ highest honor. Additionally, a :15 online video component of the Know the Signs campaign, earned a Gold Award in the Video for Web/Government category and Honorable Mention in the Creativity/Special Effects category.

There were about 2,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries in the 2013 competition. Entrants included digital professionals from audio, video and film production companies; web developers; advertising agencies; PR firms; corporate and government communication departments; and independent creative professionals such as designers, producers, directors, editors and shooters.

Winners were selected from over 200 categories in Audio, Video, and Web-based production. About 14% of the entries won the Platinum Award. About 17% were Gold winners.

“The Know the Signs campaign, particularly the website, carries a vital message to communities across California,” said Stacey Nelson Smith, CEO/President of AdEase. “These awards are proof positive that government public health campaigns can be done in a creative way. We thank the AMCP judges for this great honor.”
