Civilians On the Road

While we love being in the office and doing great work with our clients we also like to get out of the office to stay up-to-date on industry trends and share what we’ve learned with our industry peers.

This month, Civilians will be fanning out across the country presenting at some key industry events, see below:

• GreenBiz 20 (February 4-6, Phoenix, AZ): Amon Rappaport, vice president of strategic development, will be leading two sessions at this annual gathering for sustainability leaders, both focused on motivating and measuring behavior change.
• Agents of Change Summit (February 10-11, San Diego, CA): Amon and our client Marci Mednick, community development specialist at Mission Hospital, will lead a session exploring key learnings from our highly successful, award-winning alcohol use reduction programs running at three south Orange County high schools.
• PR News’ Crisis & Measurement Summit (February 25-26, Miami, FL): Kim Coutts, our director of communications and outreach, is a crisis communication and reputation management expert. During her breakout session at this annual gathering of PR pros, she’ll examine the dos and don’ts of crisis response messaging by highlighting shining examples of great work alongside some infamous examples of gaffes, embarrassments or missing the mark.
