I found a very interesting article that on Mashable about a 2011 Dunkin’ Donut survey of 4,700 workers’ coffee drinking habits. At first you think this has nothing to do with advertising or marketing until you take a look at numero 2.
The study shows scientist/lab technicians are the heaviest coffee drinkers (probably due to playing with rats all day). The second heaviest coffee drinkers are the marketing/PR professionals. I can tell you, if you take a look around our office on Mondays you would think we were definitely number one.
The infograph they provide goes on to point out that judges, attorneys and hotel workers are most likely to take their coffee black (what a bunch of bad a$$es).
