The uncommon agency for the common good

“Pitcher” Provides Agency Hook Ups

Have you ever heard of the app, Tinder? In case you haven’t, Tinder is a very popular dating app, that allows users to sort through pictures of people near their geographic location and say either “yes” or “no” to if they’d like to meet them. A swipe to the right means “yes”. A swipe to the left means “no”. And if two people say yes to each other, they are linked up and have an opportunity to chat. Genius, right? A new app from Amsterdam, called Pitcher,  has recently been getting some buzz for publicizing itself as the “Tinder for marketeers”. Essentially, companies can design the type of campaign they are trying to run, and then sort through agencies based on their compatibility with their objectives. And the same swipe to indicate ‘yes or no’ technique applies. Allow this video to provide a better explanation.

While the app is currently only operating in Amsterdam, due to its growing popularity, it is likely that there will be an American version rolling out soon. Love it or hate it, this is the way some people are finding agencies now. If AdEase ever pops up on your mobile device, swipe right!
