AdEase participated in the YMCA Bike-A-Thon at the Toby Wells YMCA in Mission Valley on Saturday, February 8th. This is an annual event hosted for all members of the community to come together and practice a healthy lifestyle, while also raising money for charity. All the money raised from this event goes toward providing underprivileged children and youth the opportunity to participate in different programs throughout the YMCA. While participants are cycling for a good cause, they are also guaranteed a day filled with fun and prize giveaways.
This is the second year AdEase has participated in this event, with seven AdEase employees riding for a total of 8 hours. With an initial team donation, AdEase also donated an additional $0.25 cents for each calorie their team member burned. By the end of the day, the AdEase team burned a total of 2,183 calories. Not only did AdEase make a difference towards an important cause, but they also spent their Saturday exercising together and having fun!
