Virginia Green really knows her way around a spreadsheet–in fact, some might say she “excels” at it. All finance puns aside, this proud mom gracefully navigates her way through the world of Civilian accounting with the fleetest of foot. Juggling an array of clients of all sizes, we lean on Virginia to keep the ship straight, and of course get us paid too.
When you were 10 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a park ranger and live in the woods.
A social cause you care deeply about and why?
Homelessness. Everyone should have a place to lay their head
If you could earn a living doing anything else, what would it be?
I would love to be a sculpture artist or painter.

Both my grandmothers died when I was very young so I have so many questions for them now that I’m older. They were resilient in a time when it wasn’t easy to be a woman. I’d also love to talk to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. She’s been a strong outlier and I want to know what has inspired her through the years.
